Role

We are seeking a positive, organized and self-motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. SDRs are responsible for outbound prospecting. They research and reach out to new clients who might be interested in the services the Atwave provides based on our ideal customer profile, and introduce those clients to our sales executives. You should have outstanding interpersonal and customer-centric skills with the desire to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders. 

​This position lays the foundation for a successful sales and business development career in marketing, media, ad-tech, or mar-tech. Atwave is growing significantly.  Thus, There is a path for career growth within Atwave for the right individual.

Responsibilities

  • The Sales Development Representative’s core role is to identify new leads for the sales team that match Atwave’s ideal customer profile.
  • Research companies and verticals to build a list of ideal accounts to target for the sales team. 
  • Drive lead generation in the form of qualified sales appointments for the sales team based on historical campaign performance and industry research analysis.
  • Develop and apply a thorough understanding of the customer acquisition marketing space, Atwave’s services and competitive value propositions.
  • Research and report on prospect’s potential pain points and/or marketing triggers.
  • Manage client prospect lists and reporting.
  • Provide internal and external sales stakeholders with exceptional service and support.
  • Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects that will help drive revenue growth.
  • Weekly meetings with the sales team to review leads and response rates.
  • Apply excellent attention to detail and organizational skills while anticipating sales team needs.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to uncover and understand customer needs
  • Attention to detail and hands-on meticulousness in carrying out work responsibilities
  • Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • A resourceful, driven team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of current business software technologies - Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of email marketing and advertising is a plus
